Dr. Maura Notwick
Dr. Maura Notwick is a life-long Bucks County, Pennsylvania resident. She attended Albright College in Reading, PA where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Notwick worked as a veterinary technician in a holistic veterinary hospital in Bucks County. This experience in alternative medicine, along with watching several relatives struggle with chronic health issues led Dr. Notwick to chiropractic training. She enrolled in Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
During her time at Parker College, Dr. Notwick participated in the Clinic Abroad program and spent a trimester treating patients at the Universidad Estatal del Valle de Ecatepec in Mexico City, Mexico. Following her training, Dr. Notwick returned home to Pennsylvania and joined Newtown Health and Wellness in Newtown, PA. Dr. Notwick is continually updating her training and equipment in order to provide the best care possible for her patients. She is one of only a handful of Bucks County practitioners certified in Graston Technique. Dr. Notwick is licensed by the Pennsylvania Board of Chiropractic and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association.
Along with the Newtown Health and Wellness team, Dr. Notwick believes in a whole body approach to health and develops an individualized wellness plan for each patient. These plans are designed to not only relieve pain or to overcome specific injuries or complaints, but to help patients stay healthy for life. Dr. Notwick believes that complementary medicine partnered with traditional medicine and a total wellness lifestyle is key to people feeling their best and staying healthy.
